Study Abroad

The Study Abroad unit manages LSU's extensive education abroad programming. We offer LSU students opportunities to earn degree credit while studying in another country, and we partner with LSU faculty interested in launching new study abroad initiatives.

The Louisiana State University Office of Study Abroad follows the Forum's Standards of Good Practice for Education Abroad, 6th Edition, to ensure we support high-quality study abroad programs.

Peer Ambassadors

Explore the world with the help of Our Peer Ambassadors

A critical part of our team are our Peer Ambassadors — LSU students who have studied abroad and now help other students find the perfect program for their goals, interests, and degree objectives. If you are an LSU student interested in studying abroad but are not sure where to start, contact our Peer Ambassadors today or stop by 103 Hatcher Hall to talk to them!

Walk-in hours: Monday – Thursday (8:30am – 4:00pm)

Full-Time Team

The study abroad team is led by full-time members; each team member has a unique specialization.  If you are an LSU student, once you have met with a peer ambassador, you will be directed to the Study Abroad Advisor below for your program. See the links below for more information on contacting our staff.
