The College of Engineering has named Ibrahim “Abe” Baggili the new chair of the Division of Computer Science and Engineering. Baggili joined LSU in 2022 and has taught computer science and cybersecurity.
LSU cybersecurity graduate student from receives a shoutout from the U.S. Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency, or CISA, for the “Staggering!” impact his work is having on the nation.
A collaborative team at LSU and Southern University has been awarded a $1.2 million grant from the National Science Foundation to address critical cybersecurity vulnerabilities in electric vehicle charging stations.
The Department of Computer Science and Engineering teams up with the Department of Environmental Sciences to create a suite of databases, analytical tools, and training tools called Human Dynamics and Resilience Infrastructure.
